The lymphatic system is a vital part of optimal functioning of your body’s immune defense and longevity. The system is made up of nodes, vessels, and fluids called lymph. The lymphatic system has many functions including: draining fluid, protecting against disease, protecting organs, fat absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and maintaining fluid balance.
Imagine a network of pipes throughout your body responsible for removing toxins produced by the body and environment. This system functions without a pump and can become sluggish if not supported.
Treatments promote overall health and wellbeing and will enhance your mental and physical health, helping you feel rejuvenated and revitalized. Benefits include: reduced swelling, improved circulation, boosted immune system, balancing hormones, reduced water retention, weight loss, reduction in appearance of cellulite, treating lymphoma, sinus congestion, helping with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, helping with relaxation, improving bloating, brain fog, constipation and other digestive issues, recovery post work out, improving surgery outcome with treatments pre-procedure.

We encourage you to follow our pre-treatment recommendations to see the best results.
Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your massage. Proper hydration helps improve lymphatic circulation and aids in the elimination of toxins from your body.
Avoid eating at least two hours prior to your treatment. A full stomach may result in discomfort during your treatment. Eat fruit or something light if necessary.
Refrain from using any lotions, oils or skin care products, the products can interfere with the modalities used by the therapist.
After your treatment it is important to take steps to maximize your results. Hydrate. Continue to drink water after your massage to support your body and the detoxification process. Avoid heavy meals or greasy foods that may strain your digestive system. Avoid or limit alcohol and caffeine for the remainder of the day. These substances can affect hydration levels and interfere with the body’s natural detoxification process. Schedule regular sessions, then once your system is functioning optimally, schedule maintenance sessions to maintain benefits over time.
Our licensed massage therapist cannot give medical advice. Please consult with your health care provider for contraindications prior to your appointment.
Cardiac edema, congestive heart failure, acute inflammation caused by bacterial, fungi or viral infection, undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, kidney failure and other blood conditions. If you have experienced any of these conditions please speak with a health care professional in advance of your appointment.
We suggest scheduling your first session at a time when you can rest post treatment. While it is uncommon, some people find they require additional rest post treatment. Clients enjoy sculpting lymphatic body treatments the day before a special event once they have experienced a handful of sessions and can predict the outcome.
